Hi, my name is Margie Haynes. I'm the Director of Goldilocks Online Pty Ltd, a small family-owned Australian company based in Diamond Creek, Victoria.

I had the idea for an online child safety store just after we had our first daughter, Emma, in 2006. When Emma started crawling and reaching for things I found it increasingly difficult to keep her out of harms way, so I went searching for child safety products. I was surprised at how hard it was to find everything I needed in one shop.

Being a busy mum I just didn't have the time to go from store to store. I wanted to spend my spare time with my daughter and thought there's got to be an easier way. That's why I decided to establish an online child safety product store - this way busy parents everywhere, no matter how remote, can easily and conveniently access a range of safety information and tips, plus safety products to match.

My husband, Scott and I now have a second daughter, Chloe, who is two years old. Chloe is just as adventurous and inquisitive as Emma was, so we are constantly reminded of how challenging it is to keep your child safe at home, in the car and outdoors.
